Badger House Community Trail

Time travel to six hundred years ago on this easy two and a quarter mile round trip walk from behind the Wetherhill Mesa Info Kiosk. The Community Trail junctions with Nordenskiold #16, crosses the Long House Loop, and then winds through four ancient archeological sites with interesting interpretive signs about the rich history of each site. This trail consists of gravel and pavement. With the area only open until sunset, be sure plan accordingly. If you arrive too late in the day, the trail could be closed. To shorten the trail, you can take the tram to or from the Badger House tram stop. Open early May to late October.
