Rambler Mine Trail Details
To reach the Rambler Mine Trail, drive to the end of Nabesna Road, mile 42. Take care to respect the private property in this area. For parking, continue driving to a gravel parking area on the other side of the private property. From here, hike down the historic mining road (the non-maintained continuation of the Nabesna Road) until you come to a trail about 0.3 miles down. Turn right here and look up to the hillside to try to spot the Rambler Mine above you on White Mountain. You will ascend through the forest for 0.5 miles to reach the mine. There is another unmaintained trail that proceeds uphill for even more extensive views of the surrounding mountains. This route may not be visible from the mine site. When exploring the mine site, do not enter any structures or tunnels and do not remove any artifacts.
