Fishing is permitted within the park, but you'll need a valid South Carolina fishing license before casting a line, and follow the state's fishing regulations. Pretty much wherever you see water, you can cast a line, however not at the Weston Lake overlook and 100 feet around the overlook, and you cannot carry your fishing pole and gear on the park's boardwalk. Be sure to pay close attention to the park's guidelines regarding bait, and know that catch and release sportsmanship is encouraged to preserve the fish population.
