Tall Trees Grove Details
The world's tallest tree once lived here, but the indirect effects of logging caused the onetime champ to lose its top, and therefore its title. However, the new tallest tree in the world is also part of this grove. All trees in this area are especially tall, so the title has changed hands several times as trees continue to grow and lose sections. There is not a trail to the current record holder, but all trees in this grove are spectacular. Access the Tall Trees grove by taking the Dolason Prairie Trail off of Bald Hills Road.
