Flint Ridge Trail Details
The Flint Ridge section of the California Coastal Trail runs between a marked western trailhead on Coastal Drive (off Klamath Beach Road) and the marked eastern trailhead off Alder Camp Road. About 0.25 miles in from the western trailhead, the Flint Ridge Camp offers backcountry camping. The trail begins at a pond and climbs through the redwoods, rewarding hikers with spectacular views over the ocean. This section of trail is 4.6 miles in one direction. Both ends of the trail boast large redwoods and old-growth forest habitats.
