The trailhead for the Crescent Beach Trail, a 3.5-mile section of the California Coastal Trail, is at the Crescent Beach picnic area on Enderts Beach Road, off Highway 101. This easy, flat trail is a perfect walk for families and you can turn around at any point and head back. Keep an eye out for Roosevelt Elk in the grassy prairies near the beach. There are picnic areas at both ends of this trail. Since it's pretty flat, this is also a popular running trail.
