If sea lions are on your must-see list during your visit to Channel Islands National Park, you'll definitely want to check out the Pinniped Point Trail on Anacapa Island, west of Landing Cove. After arriving on the island, use the stairway to climb the rugged cliffs to begin your hike on the loop trail, just 0.4 mile round trip. Overlooks along the trail provide terrific viewing opportunities of a haul out site for the sea lions taking a break from the ocean. Combine the trail with the three others found on the island to hike a total of two miles.
