Port Graham Corporation is an Alaska Native company that owns some of the land along Kenai Fjords coastline. Created under the Alaska Native Settlement Act of 1971, the Port Graham Corporation represents the Sugpiag people that inhabit the Kenai Fjords. The land maintained by Port Graham is located at the tip of the peninsula, at the entry to Cook Inlet. The corporation works alongside the national park to protect the region's ecological and cultural value. Visitors to corporation lands are required to obtain a Land Use Permit except in areas explicitly marked as public easements, which can be used for 24 hours without a permit. Check with park rangers or call the Port Graham Corporation at 907-272-7432 if you have any questions about land use.
