Gullivers's Hole
The name Quoddy Head comes from the Passamaquoddy Tribe and refers to a "fertile and beautiful place." The magical feel here is immediately noticed too once visitors set foot in the lush forests with moss flooring, formed ages ago of black volcanic rock. The cliffs along the park shore are popular for sightseeing, hiking, breathing in the fresh ocean air, and visiting Gulliver's Hole. Referring to a chasm in the towering shore walls eroded over time to form black coastal cliffs, the location is infamous amongst photographers.
